Pat’s Lakeside Café

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner—I’ve tried it all at Pat’s Lakeside Cafe in Okeechobee and come away satisfied every time, enough that this has become my new favorite while hanging out in the area. Their claim to fame is the Okeeburger, a 10 ounce seasoned beef patty served on equally gigantic pita bread with secret sauce, and you wouldn’t believe how many of these my fellow hikers chowed down on during the Big O Hike. Pat’s does great homemade pies and lists these and their long list of fresh vegetables and daily specials on the chalkboard. Dinners run $7-14 with a choice of two sides, lunch $3-7, and breakfast from $3, is served all day.
